Every year, former president APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday is celebrated as World Students‘ Day. United Nations had declared October 15 as World Students‘ Day in 2010 on wards as a recollection of APJ Abdul Kalam’s legacy to recollect his role as a teacher. Department of Botany celebrated world students day with the students of Mar Thoma Kindergarten on 15th October 2019.
